Who we are

vACC Switzerland is being established at the 1st of March 2009. Our crew has years of experience from the former SwissFIR, a part of VACC-SAG. We are a subsidiary organisation of VATSIM.NET and a VACC of VATEUD. Pilots, air traffic controllers, other helpers and the staff team up to vACC Switzerland.


People from several countries, every age and different professions belong to vACC Switzerland. We all share the same hobby: VATSIM. Most of our members live in the german-speaking part of Switzerland. Furthermore we have members from the french speaking region of Switzerland, the Ticino and and from other countries. Members are pilots with a certaom number of flights within Switzerland, air traffic controllers and others supporting the organisation of vACC Switzerland.

Some of are aviation related professionals, own a private pilot licence or have other hobbies like planespotting.

Members of vACC Switzerland not only meet online, we also stick together in real to eat a pizza or to organise such a big event like the vACC Switzerland weekend where we provide several hours of ATC, fly together on VATSIM, wine and dine and have a lot of fun.
